Terms of Service

Not for Primary Flight Use. Cleared is an informational and training aid only. It is not a substitute for the official Pilot’s Operating Handbook (POH), aircraft flight manual, manufacturer procedures, or any other approved operational document.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Cleared mobile application, website at clearedflight.com, and related services (together, the “Service”) operated by Waisssoft (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Not for Primary Flight Use

Cleared is provided solely as an informational / training tool. It is not certified, approved, or intended as a primary source for flight operations, navigation, dispatch, or aircraft procedures.

• Do not rely on Cleared in place of the official POH, AFM, manufacturer checklists, company SOPs, or applicable aviation regulations.
• Any checklist, reminder, email, schedule, or other content in the app may be incomplete, outdated, incorrect, or unsuitable for your aircraft, crew, or flight.
• Cleared does not provide official manufacturer checklists. Users create or import their own lists. You are responsible for verifying every item against approved sources before flight.

2. Pilot in Command (PIC) responsibility

The Pilot in Command has sole and exclusive responsibility for the safety of the flight, the aircraft, passengers, and the use of any checklist or information from the Service. Nothing in Cleared reduces, shares, or transfers that responsibility. You must independently confirm all operational decisions using approved documents, current weather and NOTAMs, air traffic control, and your own professional judgment.

3. “AS IS” and limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WAISSSOFT, ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY, BODILY INJURY, OR LOSS OF LIFE, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR AIRCRAFT, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

If a court finds that any limitation is unenforceable, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (USD 100).

4. User-generated checklists and sharing

You may create checklists and share them with other Cleared users as:

• Linked (view only) — the recipient can view and load the list for a flight, without copying or editing your original.
• Private copy — the recipient receives a copy in their own account, which they may edit independently of yours.

You represent that you have the right to create, store, and share that content, and that it does not infringe manufacturer, publisher, or other third-party rights. You remain solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of content you create or share. We may remove content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or the law.

5. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other users, or use the Service for any unlawful purpose. You must keep your account credentials confidential.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect (including your email stored in our database and used to send messages through our email provider, Resend) and how we use it. Using the Service means you also agree to that policy.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms. The version date above will change. Continued use after an in-app acceptance prompt, or after we post a new version at this URL, constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law. Material changes may require you to accept again before using the app.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Israel have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you other rights.
